About the WPPA
The Westchester Professional Photographers’ Association, forming part of the Professional Photographers’ Society of New York State (PPSNYS ) and sharing affiliation with the Professional Photographers of America ( PPA ), is a dynamic group of skilled and talented photographers who meet monthly to promote professional networking, business advancement and to further the educational goals of the statewide organization. This is primarily achieved through print competitions judged by PPA qualified judges, the annual State Convention, annual weeklong workshops, monthly meetings with speakers, and educational seminars offered throughout the state. Our group consists of full-time, part-time and retired professionals and aspiring professional photographers. Each member has a particular skill and shares their knowledge with other members in the pursuit of their craft, whether it be wedding, portrait, sport or fine art photography.
